This fully illustrated Bible story begins when Jesus' close friend Lazarus dies. Lazarus' sisters, Martha and Mary, are weeping, but their tears soon turn to joy when Jesus miraculously brings their dead brother back to life! The book also does not say that Jesus said that what Mary has done will be remembered.A few days later, Mary anoints Jesus' feet with very costly perfume and wipes them with her hair. Judas criticises her act of love and devotion, but Jesus defends Mary, telling Judas to leave her alone.Not long after that Jesus enters the city of Jerusalem, riding on the colt of a donkey, and the waiting crowds give Him a royal welcome. As Passover draws near, Jesus eats a special meal with His disciples. He tells them that the bread represents His body, and the cup of wine represents His blood that will be poured out for the forgiveness of sins. Then He says that He is about to be betrayed. But His disciples are greatly distressed and confused.
