To be sure, Olivier, who was born in Paris, France, points out that the climate in Europe today is quite different than in the mournful years following World War II. Multiple factors, including changing demographics and political dynamics, have led the way to new strains of anti-Semitism. In addition, the globalization of anti-Zionist sentiments, combined with radical worldviews that embrace hatred, has accelerated the importance of recognizing and negotiating peaceful solutions and putting preventative actions in place.
