Everyone knows fairies aren't real.Twelve-year-old Lily arrives at Willow Hall, a house full of secrets and stories, knowing fairies are made up.Exploring the old place Lily learns about her family's hidden past, discovers mysterious rooms full of curious objects, and catches glimpses of tiny, flying creatures (that look a bit like, but since they are not real, could not possibly be, fairies!). In Willow Hall it is quite believable a few fairies, a gaggle of gnomes or a dragon or two were secretly living in the forgotten rooms, but Lily knows it's best not let her imagination get the better of her. Then one day, she finds a mysterious gateway and stumbles into a strange forest teeming with magical creatures and comes face to face with the possibility that maybe, just maybe, everyone is wrong, and fairies do exist.
