Time travel is a tricky subject when it involves one temperamental person, bringing a second legend to the mix is bound to make matters worse. A mage was desperate enough to bring forth a true and stalwart friend to help Bridgit try to survive in her birth era once more. Someone was insane (or idiotic) enough to bring an aging Matthais Areson from his cozy home in the past to a future where he knows little. All Bridgit wants is to be left alone, and Matthais showing up isn't helping matters. When Bridgit learns of an insane plot that has survived the long ages she gets downright irate. Because no matter how tired Bridgit is, no one threatens the Crown and lives to tell of it.
