Eccentric fabulist Luce Cannon prays to God to become a General Authority of the Mormon Church. Satan, who is still smarting from losing the bet on the integrity of Job, dares God to do it and proposes to enter into a wager that the Church could not survive such an appointment. God takes him up on it, with hilarious results.
