Sinbad's life is full of fun and frolic for the mischievous, good-natured mutt.Edwina Dumm (1893-1990) was a cartoonist best known for her daily newspaper comic, Cap Stubbs and Tippie. Born and educated in Ohio, she became America's first female full-time editorial cartoonist, working for the Columbus Monitor. When that newspaper folded, she moved to New York to continue her studies, and embarked on her career as a newspaper comic strip artist. In addition, she drew a comic page featuring the affable and mischievous canine, Sinbad, for the magazines Life and Tatler. This particular collection was first published in 1930.
