Munyori (nick-named Yori) is a beautiful and charming, 26-year-old African American woman with a golden-brown skin color. Yori will soon obtain a doctoral degree in Literature from a Historically Black University; yet ultimately, Yori aspires to become a published author of mystery novels. She meets Johannes, a 30-year-old handsome white man of Greek descent with the most amazing hazel eyes, in the most unlikely place. Johannes owns a small construction company and seems to have nothing in common with Yori. He and his sister, El, had been through the ultimate tragedy for which sadness consumed him until he met Yori. In 72 hours, they spent every moment together and found love. However, tragedy strikes again. What could have possibly happened?
