Naturopathic doctors had their rights to use a wide variety of physiotherapies enshrined in Congressional law in 1931. Naturopaths increasingly gained favor with the public using these purely physical methods, with the end result of their being adopted by mainstream medicine--and physiotherapy became the separately accredited field of Physical Therapy. After decades of decline, naturopaths became less identified with these therapies than the orthodox physical therapist. In fact, the term "physiotherapy" itself is now archaic in the USA. This book details the various techniques historically used and step by step instructions in their safe and effective use for the modern practitioner in the drugless healthcare profession.
