This book deals with the possible applications of taekwondo in the context of the demands and risks of today's working world. The fundamental question is to what extent taekwondo has a positive impact on health. In the theoretical section, the sport of taekwondo, its origins and content are explained in detail. In order to define a framework, I outline the conditions of the modern working world and approaches to prevention in the context of occupational health management. I examine the different perspectives on a possible concept that identifies taekwondo as a suitable tool for successfully counteracting the health challenges faced by employees. This includes interviews with experts from the fields of medicine and health, representatives of health insurance companies, taekwondo specialists and a representative of the employer side, and concludes with ideas for practical implementation.
