This book proposes an analytical framework covering eight strata in three classes. Based on the data from a large-scale random questionnaire survey on the theme of "Social Development and Social Construction" organized and implemented by Shanghai University from 2012 to 2013, this book expounds the distribution and evolutionary trend of eight strata in three classes in aspects such as education, income, housing, inter-generational mobility, intra-generational mobility, stratum identification, social interaction and marital matching from the four aspects of social stratification and interest relationship adjustment, social contradiction and conflict integration, strata distinctions and social distinctions, as well as consciousness and psychology of social strata.
