Perennial widow Sybil, a retired schoolteacher from a small Pennsylvania town, embarks on man hunting road trip with her ne'er do well stranger of a nephew, Jason, as chauffeur. She is forced to accept as additional traveling companions Jason's girlfriend and her nine-year-old son, making for a comedic and dramatic road trip unlike any other.
