When Leon, a rather meek field mouse, sets out to discover the ways his neighbors spend their free time, he never expects he'll be mud-sliding with a muskrat, listening to a mourning dove who sings with her wings, or being taught by a toad how to see a new world with every blink. As the eccentric creatures he meets share their unusual talents, Leon realizes they've become his new friends and his self-assurance grows. When a crisis strikes the group that calls for a field mouse-sized solution, Leon knows he's the only one who can save the day. But will his newfound confidence give him the courage he'll need to prevent a calamity?
