The fortress is built from large, roughly cut natural stones, the remains of ancient relics. Each of these stones belongs in the Museum of Ancient Life on Earth! The walls, made of relics-living memories of the distant past-carry a sacred, esoteric meaning and an unusual function. They separate the world of evil, vanity, and sorrow that exists around us from the world of goodness and grace, of carefree life, like in Paradise-inside this castle, behind such thick walls. "Leave all evil, vanity, and sorrow behind, all who enter here!" - this is how I see the slogan above the entrance door of this Citadel hotel...Years later, I remember this hotel not for the delicious seafood kebabs, crabs, or king prawns grilled at the Citadel restaurant, or the equally delicious dishes at the Chinese à la carte restaurant in the Buddha-Buddha bar, but for the spiritual paradise life at this hotel: the live sound of violin music or a solo trumpet concert at the Columbus Bar, the spiritual magic of the Red Sea, the life of corals and colorful tropical fish, the psychological atmosphere within the walls of this Citadel, created by the aura of the ancient stones from which the entire hotel is built.
