Adam's story is the beginning of the human story, revealing God's original design for life, relationship, and purpose. Created in God's image, Adam was formed for fellowship with his Creator and entrusted with responsibility within creation. From the start, God desired to walk closely with humanity, speaking, guiding, and providing all that was needed for life to flourish. Yet Adam's story also reveals the reality of human choice and the consequences of turning away from God. Sin entered the world through disobedience, bringing separation, brokenness, and death. What was once marked by harmony became marked by struggle. Even so, God did not abandon His creation or withdraw His voice. Throughout Adam's life and the generations that followed, God continued to pursue humanity with grace. He spoke promises, provided covering, and preserved hope. Adam's story reminds us that while sin changed the human condition, it did not change God's heart. From the very beginning, God was already working toward redemption.
