This book examines Sound Doctrine as identified by Paul's charge to Timothy, Titus, and the Elders of the Church at Ephesus. Paul sends Timothy to Ephesus as an overseer of the churches in this large city and charges him with the same charge he gave the Elders at Ephesus, to teach Sound Doctrine. Since we know what Paul taught when he first came into Ephesus, we know what this Sound Doctrine is and how it is involved in healing, wholeness, and salvation, which is what Sound Doctrine is: teaching that makes us whole, healed, reconciled, and saved. This book examines basic Christianity in light of the Scriptures on belief, repentance, baptism, and the gift of the Holy Spirit.
