Coming of age as a butch lesbian, Jessi spent many years as an activist in the Gay Rights movement. This, along with her masculine presentation in a time when being gay in society was a definite challenge, made her a frequent target of homophobia. She chose a different course and changed her life's path in a calculated effort to protect herself.Jessi is a longtime resident of the Pacific Northwest and resides in the mountains of Southern Oregon with her partner and their menagerie of cats, dogs, and horses.
