This research - Archetypes of Movement. C.G. Jung's Ideas in Motion, in a new version - introduces the archetypes in relation to their geometrical and qualitative appearance by applying the movement analysis system of Rudolf Laban enhanced by a variety of body and movement concepts which offer bridges and amplifications to the thoughts of C.G. Jung. In addition, insights from archaeology, astronomy, embryology, fine arts, geometry, literature, therapy and oriental dances shed light on the archetypes of movement and show their cross-cultural and timeless character. This concept of the archetypes of movement - illustrated by numerous depictions - is inspired by the ideas of B. Bainbridge Cohen, I. Bartenieff, J. Chodorow, E. Conrad, M. Gimbutas, F. Goodman, F. Kafka, J. Kestenberg. H. von Kleist, H. af Klint, C.L. Moore, E. Neumann, W. Reich, F. Riemann, L. Sheleen, M. Wigman and further experts.
