There have been rumors about where they come from-the man-eaters. Some believe they're husks of previous humans whose souls have passed on. Some think they are embodiments of all the rage and hatred in the world. Others believe they are zombies, jealous creatures wanting to tear life away from anyone and everyone. No matter which may or may not be the case, the man-eaters do exist, prowling the world and searching for their next victims.Zylo, a fourteen-year-old man-eater anomaly, prowls the streets just the same. He's human-so he insists, but this notion is challenged when he meets Meeka. Meeka, a man who laughs his way through life, insists otherwise. The two stick together, if only just to spite one another, but soon their bond grows. Meeka finds his anchor in Zylo, and Zylo finds in Meeka the parent he didn't realize he needed.
