The Will of Phin and the Fall of Libertas is an allegorical fantasy redemption story about finding wisdom, hope and strength: A young man by the name of Phin, who was raised in a troubled home and considered an outcast, finds himself in prison before ever having the chance to live a normal life. In a moment of desperation a mysterious passage opens, providing an opportunity for him to escape. He soon discovers that the new world he enters isn't the gift he hoped for at all. Instead he finds himself fighting against his character flaws, that have now empowered him in troubling ways. In what seems to be a hell manifested specifically for him, Phin encounters waring tribes, desperate wretches, shadowy figures and supernatural beings that all seek to overpower him, with the exception of a rare few. Determined to avoid making the same mistakes that cost him everything back home, Phin resolves to resist whatever force it is that seeks to make him suffer and fail once more. In utter defiance he elects to subdue the broken parts of himself, in a final attempt to find redemption and peace.
