Andie Valentine, a mesmeric ghost hunter from Chester, England is invited along to iconic Liverpool to meet the spirits scaring the customers of a restaurant on infamous Bold Street. All is good until Andie goes down into the cellar, where she comes face to face with the most malevolent ghost she's ever encountered. Spectacularly out of her depth, Andie knows she must somehow find a way to deal with this evil entity, before he can permanently mark the very person who Andie loves the most! A whirlwind of events sees Andie, and her boho new co-investigator Nina Kostovic, in a city they can't officially even be seen in, never mind about make a film of their case. They stand on the top floor of a car park, notorious as a suicide spot, talking with the spirit of a young man who once jumped to his death from the very same spot where they now stand. No sooner have they returned from the city they couldn't visit, Andie and Nina get asked in to clear the indoor market in her home city of a nasty ghost.
