The Book "The Theft of 3 Million Euros in Gold from a Retirement Home" tells the story of the Theft of 30 one-Kg Gold Bars from a Retirement Home located in Piazza dei Miracoli, near the Leaning Tower of Pisa. The Bars, value at over 3 Million Euros, belonged to a Guest, Grandma SOFIA, and were kept in the safe of the Superior, Sister Beatrice. The Theft was immediately reported to the Police, and the investigation was entrused to Commissioner Cervelloni. Guests of the Retirement Home, the Staff who work there, the Sisters who menage It, and the Families of many Guests where interviewed. The investigation was long, complex and difficult to solve, a true mystery full of Surprises.
