For the past 30 years I have been writing serious short stories and whimsical recollections as a hobby, touching upon a wide range of topics. Now retired, and a Virgina resident transplanted from New England, I decided there may be some folks who might enjoy what I have written over the years. Some of my tales are brief bits of whimsy and humor based upon personal experiences ("Softball Hero," "Frog Pond," "Golf Lesson," and "Windmills"). Some of my writings are short stories of suspense ("Pet Friendly Apartments"), love ("Destiny"), and drama ("Essence of Risk"). It is an eclectic array that some may find refreshing in its diversity, and that some may find irritating because, well, it is a bit of a "hodgepodge." Hence the name.
