A lighthearted tale about an alligator who finds himself a literal fish out of water. After Slater's home in the swamp is ravaged by storms, he moves inland to the forest. There he encounters other animals forced to flee their homes too. It's a fun book with a small life lesson. I recommend reading with your children over a span of a few bedtime evenings. It's funny, sweet, and of course has a happy ending. This is book number one in the Slater Series. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have enjoyed writing it.
