The box slid out of her lap as she gasped against his lips, her own hands reaching for him, resting on his chest as she fisted his shirt. His tongue danced against hers, and he moaned at the taste of her as he pulled her impossibly close, his other hand moving to her hip. Without warning, he lifted her onto his lap and pulled her flush against his chest. She gasped, bracing herself as their lips broke apart. He continued kissing her, his lips finding a trail across her jaw and down her neck as she arched her back. "Caleb," she breathed out."Hmmm." He replied with his lips never leaving her skin."Look at me." She whispered as his lips brushed against her collarbone. "Please, look at me." She waited for a moment as he paused, his eyes opening to look up at her as he reluctantly leaned away from her neck. Her hands slid back from their position in his hair, as her thumbs brushed against his cheeks. She stared down at him, her eyes searching for any hint of darkness or deceit, desperately hoping that they will only tell her the truth. Her body was tense, and she evaluated him and he watches her eyes move back and forth with a serious expression on her face.
