Vixie Vanserra has claimed and been claimed by Drakon Thorne. She has also claimed Jett Usman to help control her fire affinities which are illegal for women to possess. Not to mention the fact that Vixie is a Trinity Witch, who were once hunted to supposed extinction for their control of all magical states. Despite pushes for breeding potential Vixie has not taken with child, and she's starting to run out of excuses as to why that is. Drakon Thorne has not been following his father's command. General Corvus Thorne is not a lenient man by any stretch of the imagination, and in order to make sure his son falls in line and breeds with Vixie, he's been forced to take matters into his own hands to remind the witches that men are not content with their position in society since the disastrous Coven War. This would be easier if Drakon wasn't falling for Vixie, all schemes aside. Vixie is struggling to find her place in Vros Abbey and the society she left behind for the better. But Drakon is painting a lovely picture of a future where men and women are equal again, and all four covens can practice their affinities in harmony. It sounds like a pipe dream, but Vixie wants that future, almost as much as she wants the man all the witches want her to breed and kill. The Dawnless are rising. Will Vixie and Drakon rise or fall with them?
