The duo must work together to eliminate these old foes while also thwarting the machinations of three enigmatic beings-the so-called "Remnants of The Antithesis." Book 24: The EndMichael Magnus enters The Plot, leading to a confrontation with Mal. While they work to settle their past, Calida warns us of the threat of the present: Future Mal has assembled an army headed by the twelve Dark Souls that Michael and Mark Peddlestone faced in their adventures. We must travel to the twelve corresponding worlds to face these old foes before venturing to The Critic's Castle to confront the Ultimate Villain himself. Book 25: Rise of the ReptogsWith Future Mal defeated once more, we spend our time lounging within the blissful world of The Plot. However, when Calida detects another foe-the self-proclaimed "Reptogian All-Powerful Liberator"-launching an invasion against Planet Earth, we steel ourselves to fight back. All the while, the now-bodiless Critic looms, seeking to corrupt the mind of the one called "Ral" and turn him into yet another Future Mal. Book 26: The Throne of TelosCritic Ral assembles villains spanning the corpus of The MAL Series to wage one final war against the Nine Heroes. Steven Akorn, Sir Edward Eques, Adam Astral, Tom Wilson, Bob Smith, Alastor, Michael Mortimer Magnus, Mark Peddlestone, and Mal face their respective foes, then the Nine Heroes, Calida, and I make our way to Castle Telos, where we confront an ultimate creation from the past, reconstructed by none other than Dr. Game Over.
