Spirit Leaper is a humorous story about a typical teenager dealing with everyday problems who transforms into a mystical being overnight. On the first day of school after the summer holidays, Amy is convinced that nothing worse could happen than her younger sister, Jana, now attending her secondary school. However, she is soon proved wrong. That morning, she discovers that her crush, Lukas, who was in the year above her, has been moved to her class and is now her classmate. In her attempts to impress him, she gets herself expelled from class, which leads to her parents punishing her with grounding and a ban on her mobile phone. To give her a chance with Lukas, she enlists her friend Lena to persuade him that Amy is the coolest girl in the class. During a conversation with Lukas, Lena panics and tells him an incredible lie, claiming that Amy and she are ghost hunters because Lukas mentioned his interest in the occult. In short, he invites himself to join them on their next ghost hunt. Lena agrees as she doesn't want to scare him away, leaving Amy to miss out on this unusual romantic date. Together, they go ghost hunting in the old, dilapidated hospital in the city. There, an accident occurs that threatens Amy's life. But Lukas, of all people, turns out to be Amy's last hope...
