Four British children from modern-day England - Charlotte, Ethan, Emma, and Tom - are transported to Cusco, the capital of Inca's empire, in 1620. They land in the home of Tupaq Yupanqui, a diligent bookkeeper. Tupaq is tasked to deliver late harvest records from Machu Picchu, so he embarks on a trek along the Qhapaq Ñan, the Great Inca Road. Excited, the kids join him. Along the way, Tupaq is an enthusiastic guide of the wonders of Inca society, religion and infrastructure. In a village, an emissary redirects them to Paititi, the legendary golden city, where the children are dazzled by golden towers and fountains. Eventually, they reach Machu Picchu, just in time to join the Inti Raymi, the Festival of the Sun. Inca Mayhem, Llamas Included is a laugh-out-loud, whirlwind tale of chaos, courage, and llama-related mishaps, set against the breathtaking backdrop of one of humanity's most iconic empires. With larger-than-life characters, unpredictable twists, and a generous helping of history brought to life, it's a vibrant celebration of the spirit of adventure and mischief.
