In Trauma Llama and the Kindness Rally, a new student named Lemmy the Lynx joins Sunnyvale School just as Kindness Week begins. Though shy and eager to make friends, Lemmy quickly becomes the target of teasing from classmates like Rocco the Raccoon and Billy the Badger. Hurt by the bullying, Lemmy withdraws, eating lunch alone and avoiding games at recess. Trauma Llama notices the unkind behavior and, with encouragement from Counselor Cocoa, finds the courage to become an upstander - someone who speaks up and supports others. She and her friends, Pip and Lacey, invite Lemmy to play, helping him feel included and seen. The week ends with a powerful Kindness Rally, featuring an Apology Circle where students are invited to take responsibility for hurtful actions. In a heartfelt moment, both Rocco and Billy publicly apologize to Lemmy, and Lemmy bravely accepts their words. The school community learns how honesty and kindness can repair relationships and build trust. As the rally concludes with a kindness parade, Lemmy is no longer alone - he walks proudly beside new friends, showing that true bravery is found in standing up for others, making things right, and choosing kindness every day.
