Sometimes the most impressive people whom we would even tend to idolize, as we get to know them better, turn out to be narcissists. By the time we realize this we may have become completely sucked into their controling agendas. So subtle is the manipulation that it is hard to break away. Narcissists are accomplished at playing relatoinional games, such as blame-casting, projecting, gaslighting and ghosting. Narcissists leave a wake of broken relationships and wounded hearts behind them. Little did I know I would find out these things first hand for myself. However, after many years of getting "beat up" I did let go of my narcissist friend, and I was a better person for the things I'd suffered. I hope to help others get a fresh perspective on what narcissim is, and how one can overcome the wiles of the narcissist, to rise up better, stronger and wiser than before. People can discover that they can be the winner in this perplexing scenario. Those who overcome can not only survive, but thrive.
