This book is full of the things I've never said, but hoped to express.The things I've held in my chest until it was tight.The silent prayers and pleas in the middle of the night. Hellfire and Honey is a collection of poetry about healing, hurting, and some of the things in between. The lingering heartbreak of a love that was never meant to last, the healing we do after the hurt begins to pass, and the way that love can be sweeter than honey or bitter as ash. These pages are me guiding myself through hellfire and brimstone, the things I didn't think I was strong enough to bear alone. Some of these poems hurt, all of them will heal.
