Love of God, love within the family, love for the community and the world: these are the three pillars of a "little rule" of family life and prayer that the Fraternity of St. Charles has put together to offer to all families who, in these uncertain times, are wondering how to live their belonging to the Church, how to express the joy of faith and how to pass it on to their children, how to organize their days, between work and childcare, with a focus on meaning and following Christ. These pages present precisely this "little rule," made up of advice and reflections to be used within the family, in their daily lives. Nothing difficult: it's about making room for a greeting, a connection with God through prayer throughout the day, and then making one's actions within the family a testimony of respect for others, of constant praise for the beauty of life, of attention to the education of children. Finally, the Rule offers opportunities for service, attention, and care within one's own community, in one's daily work, in opening one's home to brotherhood and solidarity, and even in missionary outreach.
