The true story of a girl growing up in an unkind world. Faced with abuse and trauma, she navigates her way through a rough childhood, only to fall into similar situations once she aged out the system. This book is the first book of a series in which begins at her beginning. It is a real-life self-reflection of my life and experiences. Some names have been changed; however, the events are real and true.Be warned the words on these pages may be difficult to absorb, as I survived a rather violent childhood. My hope is that this series of books will give hope to others out there who may have, or are currently fighting for their freedom from abuse.
