When cleaning contractors Jeb and Lonnie take on what seems like a routine job clearing out a century-old storage unit, they accidentally unleash an ancient evil that's been waiting for the perfect opportunity to terrorize the world. Armed with nothing but an elephant gun, some questionable dynamite, and a lot of really bad luck, this unlikely group of survivors-including an ambitious archaeology grad student and a privileged college kid with daddy issues-must battle a pocket-sized supernatural nightmare known as the Baby Mummy Monkey King. What starts as a simple cleanup job quickly becomes a fight for survival through the maze-like corridors of Fortress Storage, where every wrong turn could be their last. But the real terror begins when they discover that the grotesque creature is just the beginning of their problems. With a corrupt professor and his military forces closing in to weaponize the monster for world domination, our heroes must not only survive the baby mummy monkey's supernatural powers-including fire breathing, super strength, and an appetite for extreme violence-but also find a way to re-imprison the creature before it escapes into the world. Part "Evil Dead," part "Gremlins," and entirely ridiculous, "Baby Mummy Monkey" delivers the perfect blend of genuine scares, over-the-top gore, and laugh-out-loud humor that made 80s B-movie horror so unforgettable. Some storage units are better left unopened.
