This is a self-proclaimed therapy book, that was written with the intention of the author to heal and truly close a chapter that has been a tremendous part of her life. There Isn't a Handbook on Parenting, but there are experiences, is the tale of how Momma Tish was born, who she is essentially, and who she committed to be. Momma Tish, the young stepmother who was not with their father, but raised the three children who were not hers to adulthood. Momma Tish, not old enough to be the mother of 2 of the 3 children she raised, gives an overview of what really happened over all those years of her being in their lives. This book will also answer some questions for the girls, who have an estranged relationship with Momma Tish, and have not spoken in years. Despite reaching out to start the reconciliation, the girls were not ready yet to move forward. That didn't stop the author from doing her own shadow work and moving forward with her life. Just because someone isn't ready to talk doesn't mean you're not able to say your peace. With the completion and publishing of this book, the author hopes to give the reader an eye-opening look into a mother's love, her reasons why, the importance of truth and accountability, and maybe see how you and your family can start to heal from your past.
