This book is about a wonderful non-profit based in Brookings, Oregon on the Pacific Coast. The volunteers and employees spend tireless hours ensuring the animals in their care are treated with the love and respect they deserve. Currently, the Executive Director, Jenifer Alcorn and her selfless dedication maintain consistent unconditional love to each and every critter brought into this "no-kill" shelter. Many animals are rescued throughout the year and given the best opportunity for adoption and finding a forever home. This book is dedicated to SCHS and ALL proceeds will go directly to this shelter. This author is thrilled to be able to volunteer and support SCHS in this manner. (And, now that I am done with this book, I can go play with the kitties and walk the dogs!)
