The Government is distributing trainers to every primary-school child in Britain. Pete Patterson, who becomes Mighty Pete when he wears his toy MP helmet, is looking forward to getting his. They are no ordinary trainers. The are full of hi-tec gadgetry to encourage children to take more exercise and become fitter. They are what would be called 'smart trainers'. The problem is that they might be too smart!
