Ifeoma the Kidnapped Girl is a play that centers on a young and hardworking girl. Right from childhood, she has been facing hard times. While on an errand, a soldier kidnaps her. In the city, Ifeoma becomes a housemaid in several homes without anyone showing her love or care. In the course of time, God smiles at her when she ends up living with the Bontin family. They enroll Ifeoma in a special school. She grows to become a very beautiful and intelligent girl. Dr. Bontin decides to ensure that Ifeoma reunites with her long-lost family. Ifeoma is however faced with two hard choices: to go back with her parents and be married off early in life or to continue her stay with the Bontins and proceed to college.
