Then the unspeakable happens, and it only takes just one little word. It stops you cold in your tracks, like the world you loved had come to a dead stop too. Your beloved spouse is diagnosed with Alzheimer's, and all your dreams are fading away. To be diagnosed is one thing, but to be told that they might have approximately fi ve years to live is another. Then you start your day to day, week to week, and year to year of watching your loved one decline little by little. Pat started writing to help with all the stress, anger, frustration, and fury.
