The Silver War tells the tale of a silverware society ruthlessly divided by outside powers. A wall is erected and forks and spoons are assigned to their on sections of the drawer, forced to live amongst their own kind. Isolation allows them to forget about their shared past while fear of those who live on the other side of the wall is fostered and spread. One day, a young fork accidentally finds himself on the spoon side of the wall. Fearing an invasion, the spoons react by arming themselves. The forks take this as an act of aggression and respond, in kind. Tensions boil over and before an understanding can be reached, an all out war erupts in the drawer.
